Fans of Bimbisara are perplexed by the new director taking over for the prequel, which will star Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
The hugely successful 2022 movie Bimbisara was directed by Mallidi Vassishta. The fact that Anil Paduri is directing the prequel has angered fans.
On Friday, the much-anticipated prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Bimbisara was revealed. Although fans were happy to see today's birthday boy Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the lead role, they weren't sure why the director had switched.
Although the Bimbisara crew always knew there would be a follow-up movie, the fact that it would be a prequel came as a surprise. An army was being led to battle by an elephant flying a red flag on the announcement poster.
Mallidi Vassishta, who is currently directing Vishwambhara, starring Chiranjeevi, directed Bimbisara. Anil Paduri, director of the 2021 film Romantic starring Ketika Sharma and Akash Puri, will helm the prequel.
One fan wrote, "Maku @DirVassishta ee director aa kavali (We want director Vassishta)," indicating that nobody had anticipated a different director. "Dear Kalyan ram anna, we are expecting BIMBISARA IN the Direction of Vasistha garu, not Anthor one," stated a different commenter. Others questioned why the director was replaced in their comments. An admirer commented, "Vere director nduk bro." (Why is the director new?)"
Concerning Bimbisara
The tale of an evil monarch who gets stuck in a mirror and travels to the present day is told in Bimbisara. Searching for the mirror, he returns to his environment, acclimating to the new rules. It was widely anticipated that the prequel would go deeper into the narrative because of Kalyan's excellent portrayal of the title character. What the creators have in mind for the prequel is still unknown. The film will be produced by NTR Arts, just as the original.
