New Delhi: Director Nag Ashwin claims that his eagerly awaited pan-Indian film "Kalki 2898 AD" is a fusion of science fiction and Indian mythology, a fantasy brought to life by the commitment of his actors and team.

The multilingual, high-budget science fiction film, previously known as "Project K," stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. C. Aswini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies is the producer.

The 3.03-minute teaser for the futuristic science fiction production with mythological inspirations is jam-packed with allusions to an approaching conflict and the "naya yug," or new age, that lies ahead.


According to Ashwin, this initial sight into "Kalki 2898 AD" is merely the beginning.
