According to Swara Bhasker, she lost her career as a result of using her Twitter account, making it the most costly thing she had. The actor, who has never shied away from expressing her ideas, claimed that despite the desire for a "actor like Swara Bhasker," no one in the movie business wants to cast her out of concern for controversy. She also disclosed that her family members think she "destroyed" her career and "shot herself in the foot."

Swara stated, "If there was anything in the world that was most expensive for me, it was my Twitter account because it kind of cost me my career," in a conversation with Connect Cine. "For many producers, I am untouchable in the industry," she continued.
