CBSE 10th and 12th Results 2024: JNVs - Kendriya Vidyalayas Shine

Introduction:

Results for Classes 10 and 12 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were issued in 2024. Class 12 had a pass rate of 87.98%, while Class 10 had a pass percentage of 93.60%.

This time around, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have outperformed the other educational institutions.

Results for CBSE Class 10:

In the Class 10 results, JNVs and KVs had a 99.09 percent pass rate. Last year, there was a similar pattern seen, with JNVs scoring 99.14 percent and KVs scoring 98 percent for passing.

But in 2022, the KVs trailed significantly behind the JNVs, who earned 99.71 percent, while the KVs finished third with 96.61%. This was a significant decline from the previous year, when JNVs had a 99.99 percent pass rate and KVs held the top spot with a 100% pass percentage. But this was partly a result of the lockdowns brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the postponement of board exams.

However, the pattern appears to be slightly different in the Class 12 results, since JNVs and KVs, in addition to Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA), have been placing in the top three.

With an overall pass rate of 99.23 percent, CTSA led the year as well. JNV came in second with 98.90 percent, and KVs came in third with 98.81 percent.

Last year, CTSA ranked second with 96.77 percent, JNV ranked first with 97.51 percent, and KV ranked third with 92.51 percent. In 2022, the same sequence of events was seen, with JNV leading the competition at 98.93%, CTSA coming in second at 97.96%, and KV third at 97.04%.
