Toronto: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh from Punjab is presently touring the world to captivate his admirers. Prior to his show at the Rogers Centre, a stadium located in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he invited Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as a special guest on stage.
His music has become so popular that even Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, couldn't resist seeing him prior to the show.
Diljit is seen in the video extending a folded hand greeting to PM Trudeau.
The singer commented, "Diversity is Canada's strength," along with a link to the video. The Prime Minister, Justin P. J. Trudeau, visited the Rogers Center to witness history being made.
Following the video's release, both industry friends and fans left comments about it.
"Legend," as singer Harshdeep Kaur put it,
"@diljitdosanjh thank you for representing each of us on this level," a user said.
The Canadian prime minister, impressed by Diljit Dosanjh's visit, posted images from his visit to the live performance venue on his X handle.
I dropped into the Rogers Centre just before @diljitdosanjh's show to wish him luck.
It's amazing that a man from Punjab can become a household name and sell out stadiums in Canada.
