Fans are excited for Kalki 2898 AD, the science fiction movie, to come out. The movie has already made nearly ₹8 crore in advance reservations for its opening day, according to a Sacnilk.com article. On June 27, the movie, which is directed by Nag Ashwin, will be released in theaters.

The report claims that 265035 tickets were sold for the film's 1726 showings, and that it made ₹7.7 crore in Telugu (3D, 2D, and IMAX 3D). For 1738 showings in Hindi, 13833 tickets were sold for the movie, which brought in ₹43.6 lakh (in 3D, 2D, and IMAX 3D). 2925 tickets for 278 showings of the Tamil film (in 2D and 3D) were sold, and the total revenue was ₹5.12 lakh.

While it only sold one ticket for one show in Malayalam, earning ₹300, it sold 101 tickets for 32 shows in Kannada, bringing in ₹23300. Both of their numbers pertain to 2D. As of the time this report was written, India had sold 281895 tickets for 3775 shows, bringing in ₹8.22 crore.
