In the Tadepalle district of Vijayawada, an office of the YSRCP, the party of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, was destroyed on Saturday morning.

Telugu Desam Party, the party of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, was accused of "vendetta politics" by the YSRCP shortly after the demolition.
YSRCP said that despite the party's High Court challenge to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority's (APCRDA) preliminary actions, the destruction nevertheless went ahead.

The court had mandated that all demolition operations cease.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated in an X post: "Chandrababu elevated his Damanakanda to a new plane in Andhra Pradesh. A despot destroyed the nearly completed YSRC Party central office at Tadepalli."

The YSRCP will not back down in the face of these threats or violent activities."

"For the people, with the people, and on their behalf, we shall fight valiantly. I implore all of the nation's Democrats to denounce Chandrababu's wrongdoings," Reddy tweeted.
