Modi government has eight Bihar ministers, but the NDA's nominations highlight social and regional disparities.

Although the BJP appears to have disregarded the Vaishya community, which has historically supported it, the Kushwaha community, which is perceived to be moving away from the NDA, is likewise underrepresented in the Union Council of Ministers.

Modi government has eight Bihar ministers, but the NDA's nominations highlight social and regional disparities.

Bihar now boasts a substantial number of berths in the Union Council of Ministers, including three Cabinet positions and five Ministers of State, thanks to the NDA's outstanding performance in the state, where it won 30 of the 40 Lok Sabha seats. On the other hand, a glaring socioeconomic and geographical disparity has been shown by the NDA's selection of ministers.

Bihar's central and southern regions each have one minister, while the state's six ministers are from the north. The OBC Kushwaha group, which has hinted at uniting behind the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-led Mahagathbandhan, appears to have been overlooked by the NDA, while the BJP in particular appears to have disregarded its key Vaishya (Baniya) voter base.
