CMAT Final Answer Key 2024 Issued at official website: NTA Drops Two Questions

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2024). Candidates can check and download the CMAT 2024 final answer key for the May 15 shift 1 and shift 2 exams from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/. Two questions have been dropped from the CMAT question paper.

The CMAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually for admission into management courses in AICTE-approved institutes and other participating universities and colleges. The exam was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for three hours.

The question paper includes sections on quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship.

As per the CMAT final answer key 2024, question ID 30432912794 was dropped in the shift 1 exam, and question ID 30432912843 was dropped from the shift 2 exam. When a question is dropped due to a technical error, full marks are awarded to all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted the question. Therefore, all candidates who appeared in the exam will receive 4 extra marks.

CMAT Tie-Breaking Rule

The NTA will release a national merit ranking based on the candidates' total scores. In the event of a tie, the following tie-breaking rules will be applied:

1. Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of the last qualifying examination.
2. Overall pass percentage in Class 12 results.
3. Age, with older candidates given preference.
4. Candidates with the same score will be given the same merit ranking, and the subsequent rank number will be skipped. For example, if two candidates are ranked 2, the next candidate will be ranked 4, not 3.
