Mumbai University UG Admission 2024 Registration Begins

MU UG Admission 2024: Mumbai University will start the undergraduate (UG) admission registration process today through the official website, muadmission.samarth.edu.in.

NEW DELHI: The University of Mumbai has opened the undergraduate (UG) admission registration for new students for the academic year 2024-25. The detailed information brochure and admission process will be available soon on the official portal. The selection process aims to fill seats in 749 Mumbai University affiliated colleges and 60 university departments and institutes.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 and meet the eligibility criteria can submit their MU UG admission application form 2024 through the official website, mum.digitaluniversity.ac/admissions.

The Mumbai University PG admission 2024 schedule was announced yesterday. According to the dates, the PG admission registration was to start today and the last date to register is June 15. However, the Mumbai University PG admission portal, muadmission.samarth.edu.in, is not active yet.

Meanwhile, the online application link for new and existing students is available.

MU UG Admission 2024: Eligibility

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for admission at Mumbai University.

To apply for BA programs, students should have passed the Class 12 board exam 2024 from a recognized board with a minimum pass percentage set by the university. For BSc programs, students should have cleared the Class 12 exam in the science stream, either medical or non-medical.

Admissions to various MSc programs will be available to students who have completed BSc with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Admission Process

After the registration closes, the university will issue a provisional merit list. Then, the first merit list will be released. Candidates who are satisfied with the allotment can make the payment to confirm seats before the deadline. The university is expected to release merit lists in three rounds to fill the vacant seats.
