Mumbai: During her vidai ceremony on Friday, Radhika Merchant, who is the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, enthralled the audience once more with her impeccable flair and grace.
The newlywed chose a gorgeous sindoori red outfit by Manish Malhotra for the poignant farewell ceremony. Earlier, she had worn a classic ivory and red lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her wedding.
Radhika looked stunning in a handmade couture lehenga with rich materials and complex detailing, styled by Rhea Kapoor for her vidai look.
A backless blouse adorned with real gold Karchobi embroidery, evoking traditional Gujarati artistry, was part of the ensemble. The sunset-hued Banarasi brocade print on the brocade silk lehenga skirt radiated classic beauty while paying tribute to culture.
Radhika finished off her look by draping a spectacular train-style veil over her shoulder and a Banarasi silk dupatta adorned with Resham and real gold embroidery.
Dolly Jain, a saree draping expert, carefully planned the complete outfit, while Hiral Bhatia and Loveleen Ramchandani made sure Radhika's makeup and hair looked amazing.
A representation of her family's history, Radhika wore ancestral jewels that had been handed down through the centuries in her jewelry.
Her outfit included a choker, necklace, polki earrings, baaju bandh, kadhas, and emeralds and diamonds.
