When do classes at the IITs begin?

JoSAA Counselling 2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has already released the dates that the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will begin classes for the 2024 academic year. There are three more rounds of the JoSAA left. The dates that students must report to the institutions, register for the first semester of classes, and attend orientation have all been made public on the josaa.nic.in website in addition to the start of classes.

IIT Bombay and IIT Madras are scheduled to begin classes for the 2024 academic year on July 29 and August 1, respectively, while IIT Delhi will begin sessions on July 22.
