With a large majority for his party in the early results of the vote counting, Keir Starmer, the leader of the Labour Party, is expected to be the next prime minister of the United Kingdom. Exit polls indicate that Starmer's party will likely bring an end to the 14-year rule of Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party.Starmer, a human rights attorney turned politician, has consistently stated that his party will push free trade deals and strengthen ties with India if Labour wins power. The man running for prime minister also mentioned eliminating "Hinduphobia" in the UK during his campaign.
