According to Quant Mutual Fund, it oversees assets valued at Rs 93,000 crore and has over 80 lakh folios. It has grown astronomically during the past three or four years.
On Sunday, Quant Mutual Fund announced that it has been contacted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) and that it is prepared to work with the market watchdog.
Sebi allegedly carried out search and seizure operations on Quant Mutual Fund due to allegations of front-running, per a media report. The report further stated that search efforts were carried out throughout Hyderabad and Mumbai.
