Redmi Pad Pro 5G Debuts in China with Dual-SIM Support

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G has been unveiled in China, featuring dual-SIM functionality. Boasting a 12.1-inch display and running Xiaomi's HyperOS, this tablet joins the previously launched 4G version of the Redmi Pad Pro in April. The 5G variant shares similar specifications with its predecessor and offers two RAM and storage options. Powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, it houses a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In China, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G starts at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000) for the 6GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 27,600). Available in Dark Grey, the tablet can be purchased through the Xiaomi China website.

Specifications and Features

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G features a 12.1-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 600 nits peak brightness, along with Dolby Vision support. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G comes with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, combined with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Running on the Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS, the tablet offers a seamless user experience.

In terms of camera, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G features an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor accompanied by an LED flash module. Additionally, it sports another 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.
