'Modi ki Guarantee': BJP Set for Massive Win in 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Predicts Yogendra Yadav!

"Modi's Guarantee": BJP Expected to Secure Significant Victory in 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Predicts Yogendra Yadav.

Following renowned political scientist Prashant Kishor and US poll expert Ian Bremmer, psephologist-turned-politician Yogendra Yadav has now forecasted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure another victory in the general elections, dampening the Congress party's aspirations for an electoral resurgence, as reported by The Hindustan Times.

Nevertheless, according to Yadav, there is a silver lining for the Congress party in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections—its seat count may surpass 100, as stated in the report.

Receiving criticism on social media for his prediction favoring the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kishor supported Yadav's seat projection. He mentioned that according to Yadav, the BJP is expected to secure between 240-260 seats, with its allies winning 34-45 seats. This indicates that the NDA's total could range between 275 and 305 seats, as reported.

"A trusted figure among those well-versed in elections and socio-political matters in the country, Yogendra Yadav has shared his 'final assessment' of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. According to Yogendra ji, the BJP may secure 240-260 seats, and NDA's allies may garner 35-45 seats in these elections," Kishor wrote on X.

"This implies 275-305 seats for BJP/NDA. To form the government in the country, 272 seats are required, and BJP/NDA had 303/323 seats in the outgoing Lok Sabha. (Shiv Sena won 18 seats as part of NDA but is no longer with them). Now assess for yourself and see whose government is forming. On June 4, we will know who is talking about whom," Kishor added.

As per Yadav, the Congress is expected to secure between 85 and 100 seats. The INDIA bloc, aiming to halt the BJP's momentum, is projected to secure 120-135 seats.

In the 2019 general elections, the Congress secured only 52 seats.

In an interview this week, Kishor stated that the BJP would likely comfortably surpass the majority mark because there wasn't significant dissatisfaction against the ruling party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"There might be disappointment and unfulfilled aspirations, but there hasn't been widespread anger," Prashant Kishor told NDTV, suggesting that the BJP might not achieve its ambitious '370 seats' target.

Ian Bremmer, an American political scientist, told the channel that the BJP could win between 295 and 315 seats. In the 2019 general elections, the BJP won 303 Lok Sabha seats, propelled by the 'Modi wave' in Hindi heartland states.

To attain 370 seats, the party would need landslide victories in states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, and Telangana.
