Telangana: A Podu farmer tries to kill himself by eating pesticide
The 32-year-old's health was described as critical when he was taken to Government General Hospital.
Khammam: At Rajab Ali Nagar in Raghunathapalem mandal of the district, a podu farmer is reported to have made an attempt on his life.
At his home late on Monday, 32-year-old farmer Prasad made an attempt at suicide by ingesting pesticide. His health was considered critical when he was taken to Government General Hospital.
The family claimed that a constable had unlawfully obtained title to the land in the name of Prasad's relatives, which he has been farming for the last 15 years. It was said that the covered 6.5 acres.
