Hyderabad: After a week of nonstop rain, Hyderabad residents enjoyed a partially bright morning on Friday. Drizzles persisted throughout early Friday morning, but gradually the sun appeared and provided a little break from the rain.
Rajendranagar had 13.5 mm of rain in the 24 hours before Friday at 8:30 a.m., closely followed by Yousufguda (12.8 mm) and Lungerhouse (12.3 mm). Light rain was also reported in other parts of the city.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted moderate rain or drizzle for Hyderabad on Friday despite the respite in the intense downpour.
