Vivek Oberoi: Turned to business after Bollywood shunned him.
Vivek Oberoi revealed that, despite showcasing his acting prowess in movies like Company and Saathiya, among others, it was his astute business acumen that kept him alive when he stopped obtaining roles in movies.
Recently, actor Vivek Oberoi talked candidly about his second profession as a businessman. He claimed that after being forced into a corner in Bollywood and seeing his earnings from events and movies decline, he turned to investing and business.
Before becoming an actor, Vivek went into business, he said to ABP Live. "I started a small 'dhandha' (business) at the age of 15 because I had come from a boarding school and my father (Suresh Oberoi) gave me Rs 500 pocket money," he continued. I wanted to ask the lovely females I saw at Mithibai College on dates because I was from a guys' boarding school. I was allotted Rs 5,000 every month, but I spent it all in one go. My dad chastised me.
