June's Manufacturing PMI jumps to 60.9, with the fastest job creation in 18 years: Survey
The final Manufacturing, Services, and Composite Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) number increased by 0.4 percentage points to 60.9 in June, as per the HSBC survey, from a revised lower result of 60.5 in May.
According to a poll, economic activity in the nation continued to grow in June, with the rate of job creation reaching its strongest level in over 18 years thanks to improvements in the manufacturing and services sectors.
As to the HSBC survey, there was a 0.4 percentage point increase in the final Manufacturing, Services, and Composite Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) statistic from a downwardly revised level of 60.5 in May to 60.9 in June.
