NIT Rourkela: rising in the national ranks, falling short in the global
With scores of 61.21 in teaching, learning, and resources; 68.15 in research and professional practice; 75.70 in graduation outcomes (GO); 67.08 in outreach and inclusivity; and 37.90 in perception, the school was ranked eighth in the Architecture category for 2023.
The National Institution of Rourkela (NIT Rourkela) achieved 8th place in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Architecture category 2023, marking their highest ranking in five years. The sole academic institution listed in the top 10 is the Rourkela-based institute.
Nonetheless, an examination of the institute's rankings in both national and international rankings indicates a current declining tendency. The university came up at number 67 in southern Asia in the QS World University Rankings 2023.
