NEET and UGC NET 2024 Row Live Updates: The National Testing Agency is under scrutiny following an alleged paper leak of the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET)- UG, which resulted in the cancellation of the UGC NET exam on June 19, as the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre shared some indications with the Education Ministry regarding the alleged NET exam compromise.

These developments have sparked outrage across the country, with opposition leaders, student bodies, and students themselves taking to the streets, demanding justice and harsh punishment for those imprisoned and on the run.

During the protest, over two dozen students from different universities and student outfits were also arrested from the Ministry of Education and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s residence in central Delhi.

With various legal battles in the Supreme Court and other high courts, Congress has called up for a nationwide protest against the ruling government demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The NEET-UG examination is conducted by the NTA for admissions to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other related courses in government and private institutions across the country.
