Rajnath Singh noted that even Pakistan acknowledges India's ascent as a powerful nation.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted that Pakistan, a neighboring nation known for its unfavorable stance towards India, is now acknowledging India's rise as a powerful nation. Singh emphasized that global rankings project India to be the third wealthiest nation by 2027, and despite historical tensions, Pakistani leaders are recognizing India's progress while acknowledging their own country's backwardness.
Singh further stated that India's perception globally has shifted positively, with world leaders foreseeing the 21st century as India's era. Expressing confidence in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, Singh predicted that the BJP-led ruling NDA would secure more than 400 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha.
The elections, spanning seven phases, including the upcoming polling in Lucknow among 40 parliamentary segments, will conclude on June 1, with vote counting scheduled for June 4. The BJP aims for a third consecutive term at the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
