Andhra Violence: YSRCP Man Beaten, TDP Worker Killed, and Forced To Apologize

Hyderabad: There has been a trail of violence following the Lok Sabha election and the concurrent Assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh. Reports of fights between TDP and YSR Congress Party activists have been received from various regions of the state.
With the support of the BJP and actor-politician Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena, the TDP-led coalition in the state won 164 out of 175 Assembly seats. In the Lok Sabha election, too, the NDA group triumphed, securing 21 of the 25 seats. Tomorrow is when TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu will become the new chief minister.

Following a dispute, a TDP supporter in Kurnool district was slain, according to police, presumably by his political rivals.

The son of TDP chairman N Chandrababu, Nara Lokesh, claimed that the YSRCP was responsible for the murder and promised that his party will support the Chowdary family.

"Despite the defeat, YS Jagan is still writing a bloody history. Gowrinath Chowdary, a TDP leader from Bommireddypalli in the Veldurthi mandal of the Kurnool district, was killed. In a post on X, Jagan Reddy warned of dire consequences if he did not put an end to the politics of murder and added that the TDP will maintain peace.

In response, the YSR Congress Party, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, released a film showing a man sobbing and expressing regret in front of a poster of Nara Lokesh.
