Congress protester scales tower against BRS leaders' admission.

Jogulamba Gadwal: Raising concerns about defections into the party, a local Congress worker on a mobile tower threatened to jump, causing tension in the area.

There have been rumors that the BRS MLA intends to become a member of Congress. Nonetheless, ZP Chairperson Saritha has been resisting his admission into the Congress since she was defeated by the BRS MLA in the constituency in the Assembly elections.

She urged Mallu Ravi, the MP for Nagarkurnool, to put pressure on the party leadership to bar the BRS MLA from entering. She recently visited with him in this regard.

As a result, Prasad, a supporter of hers who was roughly 25 years old, scaled a mobile network tower in the town of Nallagunta. If the Congress leadership supported the BRS MLAs' admission into the party, he vowed to leap.

Party members joined him in staging a demonstration at the tower where they chanted anti-BRS chants. Police arrived at the scene after receiving a tip from the locals, and they pleaded with Prasad not to take any drastic action.

Local leaders in Telangana are against defections at a time when the Congress leadership is pushing for them, particularly from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
