Following over 20 hours of repair work, train operations at the location where a goods train struck a Kanchanjunga Express on Monday from behind have resumed. The crash site has been removed, and the site's up and down lines are currently in use.

At the location in Siliguri, Bengal, where a Kanchanjunga Express was struck from behind by a cargo train on Monday, train operations have resumed after more than two days. The repair work is finished, and the site's up and down lines are now functioning regularly.

However, a number of trains have been canceled or rerouted as a result of the catastrophe that left nine people dead and numerous others injured.
