"Amit Shah's retort to Opposition's 'Dakshin mein BJP saaf' remark: 'BJP will emerge as the largest party in South India',

"The BJP expressed confidence in defeating the Congress in Raebareli, with Amit Shah criticizing the INDIA bloc for boycotting the Ram Mandir event. His remarks followed the INDIA bloc's "Dakshin mein BJP saaf aur Uttar mein half" comment on the ruling BJP.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reaffirmed that the BJP would emerge as the largest party in all five South Indian states on June 4, the day of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 vote counting. He stated, "I stand by my statement. Combining the seats in Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, the BJP will emerge as the single largest party."

Regarding the Raebareli Lok Sabha constituency, Shah expressed confidence in BJP candidate Dinesh Pratap Singh defeating Congress' Rahul Gandhi. He criticized Gandhi for not informing Kerala residents about contesting from two seats and emphasized the importance of transparency in democracy.

Shah also criticized the INDIA bloc for boycotting the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony, alleging fear of upsetting the minority vote bank. He questioned the bloc's political stance, contrasting their participation in Eid celebrations with their absence at the Ram Mandir ceremony.
