The Supreme Court denies a plea seeking a lower AIBE cut-off, "Padho bhai."

On July 9, the Supreme Court rejected a suit asking for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) cutoff to be lowered. According to LiveLaw, a bench chaired by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud stated that reducing the cut-off will have an impact on the caliber of attorneys practicing in India.

"A cut-off of forty for SC/ST and forty for the general category has been set." If they are unable to achieve this level of success, what type of lawyer will they be? You want to reduce it to forty and thirty-five! stated CJI.
