The deal would make it easier for students and teachers to collaborate on joint research projects, exchange student ideas, and work toward UN sustainable development goals.
In order to acknowledge the growing significance of India and to establish a long-term cooperation with the university, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITKGP) and the University of Leeds (UoL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
An official statement states that the goal of this partnership is to improve research and academic collaboration by working together to supervise PhD programs in the domains of biological sciences, transport studies, and civil engineering.
