Fox recently unveiled its Big Ten Friday night schedule, but Ohio State, along with Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Penn State, and Wisconsin, were not included in the lineup.
Ohio State Football Excluded from Friday Night Big Ten Game Broadcasts on FOX in 2024
Ohio State, along with five other Big Ten teams, won't feature in FOX's Friday night broadcasts this autumn. The network announced a schedule comprising nine conference games on weeknights from September to November.
Twelve teams in the league, which will grow to 18 members with the addition of Oregon, Southern California, UCLA, and Washington, will have games shifted to Fridays. Ohio State last played on a Friday in 2019 against Northwestern, broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
Their conference openers in 2021 at Minnesota and in 2017 at Indiana were also Thursday night affairs. The other Big Ten teams excluded from FOX's extended Friday lineup this year are Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Penn State, and Wisconsin.
