Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) announced on June 1 a price cut for various models in its Auto Gear Shift (AGS) lineup. This reduction applies to several models, including the Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Fronx, and Ignis.

MSI shared this news in an official statement but did not explain the reason behind the price cut. However, the company stressed its goal of making its AGS variants more affordable.

MSI announced today that it has lowered the prices of its AGS variants across different models by Rs 5,000. This price change affects models such as the Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Fronx, and Ignis. The new prices are effective from today, June 1, 2024.
