After winning the T20 World Cup, the Indian team arrived in New Delhi early on Thursday morning. At the team hotel, the IGI Airport, and en route to the hotel, the players received enthusiastic receptions.

Team India has a busy agenda today, including an open bus trophy tour in Mumbai and a BCCI felicitation celebration at Wankhede Stadium following their meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Hundreds of Team India supporters arrived at the New Delhi airport, waving the national flag and carrying placards.

The Indian cricket team will travel to Mumbai to take part in an open-top bus parade carrying the trophy after Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosts them for a banquet in the nation's capital. The players were transported to their hotel by two busses that were parked outside the T3 Terminal. From there, they were expected to attend a reception at the Prime Minister's house at nine in the morning.
