"Indo-Canadian groups urge politicians to condemn Khalistanis."

General counsel for SFJ Gurpatwant Pannun said in a video that individuals such as Arya and his followers have no place in Canada and should renounce their citizenship in order to return to their native India.

"Indo-Canadian groups urge politicians to condemn Khalistanis."

Toronto: While the separatist organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) criticized Liberal Party MP Chandra Arya for criticizing the vandalism of a Hindu temple in Edmonton this week, Indo-Canadian Community organizations urged the nation's politicians to cease shielding Khalistani separatists operating on its soil.

"You have no places in Canada, the likes of Arya and his supporters," remarked SFJ general counsel Gurpatwant Pannun in a video.

He said, "You have to return to your motherland, India, and renounce your citizenship."

This brought to mind Pannun's remarks from September of last year, in which he declared, "Indo-Hindu leave Canada, go to India."

He continued, saying, "You not only support India, but you are also supporting the suppression of speech and expression of pro-Khalistan Sikhs." He further claimed that by celebrating Hardeep Singh Nijjar's "assassination," they were "also promoting violence." The video was released one day after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in the House of Commons on September 18, 2018, that there were "credible allegations" linking Nijjar's June 18, 2023, death in Surrey, British Columbia, to possible involvement with Indian agents.

The most recent version appeared one day after spray-painted defacement of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Edmonton, the capital of Alberta, featuring offensive language directed against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Arya, along with the derogatory term "Hindu terrorist."

Arya wrote on X on Wednesday in reaction to SFJ's most recent attack on him, saying, "We have made and continue to make immense positive and productive contribution to the socio-economic development of Canada." Our extensive Hindu ancestry and culture have contributed to Canada's beautiful multicultural mosaic. Extremists from Khalistani are contaminating our land and violating the liberties outlined in the Canadian Charter of Rights.

Arya has previously made statements on his disapproval of pro-Khalistan elements and the "hate and violence" connected to the movement.

"Pannun has now directed threats at MP Arya and 'his supporters' — broadly targeting the Hindu Canadian community with demands to leave Canada!" tweeted the Coalition of Hindus of North America Canada, expressing its outrage over the threat to the community.

Furthermore, it said that law enforcement and politicians in Canada "not only participate in events that dangerously glorify convicted terrorists as'martyrs,' but also ignore threats by Khalistani extremists."

It said, "Followers of their ideology continue to feel emboldened by this political cover to extremist threats."

Canada cannot serve as a battlefield for radical Khalistani Muslims, according to the National Alliance for Indo-Canadians, or NAIC. It is not Canadian principles to threaten politicians and fellow citizens.

"Hindu Canadians deserve safety and respect in Canada," declared the Hindu Canadian Foundation. Nobody Former premier of British Columbia Ujjal Dosanjh warned, saying, "The ecosystem of hate and terror is alive, well, and simmering," in a post on X supporting Arya. I fear we are in for more carnage unless [Canadian Prime Minister Justin] Trudeau and the rest of the Canadian leadership keep an eye on things.
