Telangana: Hyderabad hosts a protest against drug usage
In Hyderabad, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau organizes a protest against drug abuse.
Hyderabad: On Tuesday, in honor of the International Day Against Drug Abuse, the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau held a rally at Necklace Road.
Approximately two thousand pupils from different schools took part in the demonstration. The event was kicked off by Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the deputy chief minister.
The participants made a commitment to abstain from drug usage and to actively participate in the war on drugs on that occasion. The pupils signed up to be anti-drug soldiers. Raising awareness about drug usage will be the main goal of the anti-drug warriors.
Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari and DGP Telangana Ravi Gupta took part in the function.
