Travel influencer Aanvi Kamdar dies in fall at Kumbhe Waterfalls.

Raigad: On Wednesday, while filming a video near the Kumbhe waterfalls in the Mangaon region of Raigad, a travel influencer fell down a canyon and died, according to police.

The deceased has been identified as Mumbai resident Aanvi Kamdar, 26. Kamdar was a travel influencer who enjoyed taking reel shots. She had visited the waterfalls with her companions to take advantage of the rainy season.

The deceased's leg gave out as she was filming and photographing the waterfall, causing her to plummet into a gorge that was 350 feet deep.

The Sahyadri Wildlife Conservation Society and Mangaon police officers arrived at the scene with the rescue crews as soon as they received word of the event.

The woman was saved after falling into the gorge, according to Somnath Gharge, Superintendent of Police Raigad. But she died throughout the course of the treatment.

"There were large stones falling on us as we descended to save the woman from the gorge. It appeared as though the woman had passed away at first. But when I got closer, I could see that she was breathing, which proved she was still alive. She was brought to the hospital right away. But she passed away while receiving treatment.
