Good news for yadagirigutta narasanna devotees Giri's circumambulation.. The MLA participated.

The temple has good news for the devotees of the glorious Swayambhu Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. Yadagirigutta Devasthanam has made available giri circumambulation service on the lines of Arunachalam and Simhachalam. The temple authorities have initiated the giri prakshana on swati nakshatra, the birth star of the lord. Yadagirigutta hill is famous as the Pancha Narasimha Kshetra where Jwala Narasimha, Gandabherunda Narasimha, Yoga Narasimha, Ugra Narasimha and Lakshmi Narasimha are swayambhus. For many years, only local devotees have been visiting the temple. However, in 2016, the temple was rebuilt at a cost of crores of rupees. This has made it difficult for the devotees to perform the giri.

4,000 devotees to circumambulate the hill.

Apart from Arunachalam, giri pradakshinas are continuing only in Simhachalam, Srikalahasti and Indrakeeladri kshetras in the Telugu state. Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in Yadagirigutta has so far been circumambulated by local devotees. Yadagirigutta authorities have decided to provide an opportunity to all the devotees to circumambulate the hill on the lines of Arunachalam and Simhachalam from now on. A five-and-a-half-kilometre stretch around the temple has been set up to avoid inconvenience to the devotees. On the day of Swati Nakshatra, the birth star of Pancha Narasimha, the circumambulation of the giri with 4,000 people began today. The giripradakshina started from the vaikuntha gate of the temple. The devotees returned to the vaikuntha gate and went to the temple on the stairway and had a free darshan of the lord. Local MLA Birla Ilaiah, temple EO Bhaskara Rao and staff of 5000 devotees participated in the circumambulation.

This is the first giri pradarshana temple in the state.

It is the belief of the devotees that by circumambulating the giri, sins will be removed and salvation will be attained. Yadagirigutta Lakshminarasimhaswamy Kshetra, which has emerged as the world's spiritual center, has also added more beauty to the temple with the giri pradakshana. Arunachalam giri circumambulation is 14 km, while yadagirigutta lakshminarasimhaswamy kshetra is five and a half kilometers long. The surroundings of the temple and the spiritual atmosphere were created with the compositions of the devotees in the circumambulation of the hill. However, yadadri devasthanam will be the first temple in Telangana to introduce "giri pradakshina". Mla Birla Ilaiah and temple EO Bhaskara Rao said that the giri prakshanam was initiated as part of the efforts to make more facilities and services available to the devotees at the temple. He said that efforts are being made to provide necessary facilities to the devotees on yadadri hill. They said that a spiritual atmosphere will be created in Yadadri kshetra with the giri pradarshana.
