29-year-old US woman makes ₹13 lakh a month selling flowers after quitting her corporate job.
Vienna Hintze observed that her income is higher in certain months than others due to the seasonal nature of flowers.
A 29-year-old US lady recently disclosed that she makes $16,000 (about ₹ 13 lakh) a month after quitting her corporate job to launch her own flower truck business. Vienna Hintze, a Syracuse University alumna, said in a CNBC Make It interview that she left her corporate positions in marketing and advertising in New York City because she was ready for a change. Even though she started her own digital marketing agency at the age of 24, she couldn't help but want for something bigger.
According to Ms. Hintze, "I was kind of losing the why behind what I was doing," CNBC Make It reported. "After moving to Los Angeles, I noticed that something was no longer functioning. Everything in my life had altered, with the exception of my agency," the added.
After discussing her restless feelings with her therapist, the latter suggested that she make a list of the qualities she was looking for in a job. The 29-year-old stated that she would want to acquire an old pickup truck and that she wanted to work with her pals and be outside connecting with people. She made the decision to launch Main Street Flower Truck, her own flower delivery service, a week later.
Ms. Hintze disclosed that since its August 2023 launch, her company had earned about $44,000 (about ₹ 36 lakh) in revenue and an extra $4,500 (about Rs. 3.7 lakh) in cash. Additionally, Ms. Hintze's business made almost $16,000 (about ₹ 13 lakh) in May 2024 alone.
"The money will come if you live a happy life.follow," she said.
Ms. Hintze did point out that she makes more money in some months than others due to the seasonality of flowers. She noted that sales usually fluctuate around holidays like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day.
