Day five box office revenue for Munjya: In just five days, Maddock Films' supernatural horror comedy has brought in Rs 27.25 crore.
Munjya's box office performance has stabilized following a sluggish opening Monday. Early estimates from industry tracking website Sacnik state that Aditya Sarpotdar's horror comedy made Rs 4 crore on June 11. In producer Dinesh Vijan's shared universe of spooky films, which also features films like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya, Munjya is the newest horror comedy.
Munjya has a five-day total of Rs 27.25 crore. With Sharvari Wagh and Mona Singh in the lead roles, Munjya is surprising audiences with its box office performance despite having little star power and little promotion. Additionally, it is outperforming Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, which earned Rs 24.45 crore after a week of release.
