Congressman Jeevan Reddy says he intends to leave his position as MLC.
The senior leader declares, "I have been working hard for the party's cause for years, and I never worry about personal benefits."
Hyderabad: On Tuesday, Congress MLC Jeevan Reddy declared his intention to step down from his position as MLC. Jeevan Reddy announced that he will resign from his position in the Legislative Council in response to the State Congress leadership's unilateral decision to admit Jagtial BRS MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar into the party.
The MLC is extremely displeased with the State leadership even after Jeevan Reddy was met at his apartment on Monday by IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, Government Whip Aadi Srinivas, and other Congress officials.
"Deepadas Munshi, the AICC Telangana in-charge, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the deputy chief minister, and other top party leaders spoke with me. However, I'll respect the choice made by my fans," Jeevan Reddy declared.
He stated that the State leadership had made some choices pertaining to my constituency without consulting me. He continued, saying, "I never bother about personal benefits and have been working hard for the party's cause all these years."
Additionally, the MLC refuted reports that he was joining other parties. No calls from the BJP or any other party have reached me. According to Jeevan Reddy, I haven't made any such decisions as of Tuesday.
