Opposition protests Krishi Bhawan's "image makeover" amid fresh faces at farmer demonstration site.

Opposition protests Krishi Bhawan's "image makeover" amid fresh faces at farmer demonstration site.

Following the recent Lok Sabha elections, Krishi Bhawan, which houses five Union ministries and has been the target of numerous protests from opposition parties and farmers over the past five years, has a new appearance.

During the second Narendra Modi government, twelve ministers used to sit here, however none of them have come back to the building. Given the perceived disillusionment among agricultural and other rural populations, which was represented by the BJP's low performance in many rural constituencies across the country, this trend is being considered by the Modi-led NDA government 3.0 as a "image makeover."
