Congress: NEET fraud is Vyapam 2.0; why is PM Modi silent?

Demanding that PM Modi address the NEET exam crisis, the Congress claims there was a cover-up and that falsified scores were used to deny students admission. Congress lawmakers criticize Modi's passivity amid protests and debate about exam integrity, citing arrests for paper leaks in Bihar and Gujarat and calling for a forensic investigation overseen by the Supreme Court.

Congress: NEET fraud is Vyapam 2.0; why is PM Modi silent?

The Congress stepped up its attack on the government over the NEET exam issue on Friday, questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "silence" on the subject and claiming that only a forensic investigation overseen by the Supreme Court can protect the future of thousands of young students.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, according to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, are two ways that the Modi administration is allegedly "covering up the NEET scam".

"If the NEET exam was not leaked, then why were 13 accused people detained in Bihar as a result of the leak? "Did the Patna police's Economic Offences Unit (EOU) fail to reveal that the education mafia and organized crime groups were paid between Rs 30 and Rs 50 lakh in exchange for documents?" he said in a Hindi post on X.

Has the NEET-UG deception scheme in Godhra, Gujarat, not been exposed? which involves three individuals—a teacher, a coach, and a third person—and in which, according to Gujarat Police, exchanges worth more than Rs 12 crore have been discovered amongst the defendants." stated Kharge.
