New Delhi: For the academic year 2024–2025, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is accepting online applications for admission to undergraduate courses, as well as Certificate of Proficiency (COP) and Diploma of Proficiency (DOP) programs. For further information, interested and qualified candidates should visit the institute's official website.
On August 2–12, 2024, online registration for the courses opened.
To register for the course online, qualified candidates should go to the official website at https://inuee.jnu.ac.in and provide their date of birth and NTA application number as their user ID and password.
JNU will grant admission to its BA Hons Foreign Languages, BSc Ayurvedic Biology Program, and Certificate of Proficiency programs contingent on the qualifying students' deprivation points and CUET (UG) 2024 results together.
Applicants may submit separate applications for admission to the courses in accordance with their CUET (UG) – 2024 outcome scores.
For entry into the BA, BSc, and COP programs, students won't need to take any viva voce exams. According to the university's established admission policy and processes, the candidates are admitted based solely on merit, taking into account both their performance in the CBT and the deprivation points added to their score.
According to the official JNU website, "Merit will be drawn based on the higher marks obtained in the CBT conducted by NTA and further, if necessary (in case of tie), according to the marks obtained in the qualifying 10+2 examination will be given preference in case of bunching in undergraduate and COP programmes." In the event of a subsequent tie, the candidate(s) with the higher marks in Class 10 shall be taken into account. The candidate with the announced result would take precedence over the ones without a declared outcome."
You may find all the information you need about the courses and their prerequisites on the JNU's official website.
