Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) has released the result for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2024 on May 30. Candidates can access the AP ECET 2024 result from the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, using their login details, such as registration number and date of birth.
Exam Details
The AP ECET 2024 exam took place on May 8, 2024, and was conducted for admission into 2nd-year lateral entry Engineering/Pharmacy courses for Diploma holders in Engineering and Technology and BSc (Mathematics) degree holders for the academic year 2024–25.
Tie-breaking Policy
In case of a tie in scores among candidates qualifying for AP ECET, the following tie-breaking rules will be applied:
- Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be prioritized.
- If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics & Chemistry will be ranked higher.
- If the tie continues, the older candidate will be given preference.
Qualifying Marks
To pass the AP ECET 2024 exam, candidates need to secure at least 25% of the total marks in four subjects, equivalent to 50 marks out of 200. However, SC and ST candidates are exempt from minimum qualifying marks. allocation of candidates will depend on their merit, preferences, and seat availability. Successful candidates will be invited for the counseling process.
