The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been recognized among the top 12 percent of global universities for international students, according to the Study Abroad Aide (SAA) world rankings for 2024. This prestigious ranking also positions the UoH as one of the leading universities in India.
SAA conducted a thorough evaluation of 3,349 higher educational institutions across 20 Asian countries, placing UoH in the top 12% of universities in Asia. This recognition highlights UoH's commitment to providing high-quality and affordable education to international students.
The evaluation process involved collecting and analyzing various data points from UoH, including official website information, location, university type, admission criteria, tuition fees, English proficiency requirements, and available courses for bachelor's and master's degrees.
Study Abroad Aide (SAA)
SAA's evaluation criteria focused on UoH's reputation, international student population, total enrollment, and specific ranking categories such as best universities, most affordable universities, and best value universities.
In response to the rankings, Vice Chancellor BJ Rao expressed satisfaction and pride, noting that affordability and quality education are positive outcomes for the university. He emphasized UoH's ongoing efforts to enhance educational offerings and support a diverse student body, aiming to become the top choice for international students in India.
