Hyderabad: Police shoot a fugitive who is stealing cell phones.

Hyderabad: On Sunday night, as a mobile phone thief attempted to get away from him after spotting a police team approaching, the cops fired fire.

Ameer, the alleged mobile phone thief, is alleged to have been engaged in several snatching incidents. At Sankeshwar Bazaar road, he was observed moving under dubious circumstances by a plainclothes special patrol squad.

Ameer attempted to flee the scene as soon as he saw the police squad approaching, but a police officer shot him with his service weapon.

A top official stated that in order to get the suspect to give up, the cops had to start shooting. "The firing did not injure him. He will soon be taken into custody by our forces," the official stated.
