The cinematographer for Kalki 2898 AD praises Deepika Padukone's performance, saying, "Now I see why they call her Queen."

Acclaim is being bestowed onto Deepika Padukone for her role in Kalki 2898 AD. Many moviegoers have cited the scene in the intermission where her character walks on fire as one of the most moving parts of the movie. The performer has now received high appreciation from the movie's cinematographer, who described her as encouraging and supportive.

The film's producers, Vyjayanthi Movies, posted a brand-new BTS video from the film's shoot on their official X (formerly Twitter) account. Djordje Stojiljkovic, the movie's cinematographer, discussed his experiences working with the actors throughout the film's production.
Regarding Deepika, he remarked, "I now see why they refer to her as Queen. She was really grateful for the pictures I sent. in particular, the profile pictures. We even made jokes about one day doing a whole movie in profile. Her encouragement and support were invaluable, and they truly inspired me to consistently produce greater work.
He also complimented Prabhas' "wonderful energy" on set, saying he would crack jokes and keep the sequences moving, and Amitabh Bachchan's devotion to his work. Additionally, he talked about how much he enjoyed working on challenging moments with Prabhas and Disha Patani since they kept the intensity high.
In Kalki 2898 AD, science fiction and Indian mythology are combined to tell the tale of a bounty hunter named Bhairava (Prabhas), who encounters Ashwatthama (Amitabh) and SU-M80 (Deepika), a pregnant lab subject. The movie closes in a way that foreshadows the events in the follow-up.
After earning ₹95.3 crore on its first day of release, Nag Ashwin's film has achieved ₹1000 crore at the box office globally in just 15 days of its release. It was released in 2D and 3D in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
