For the "wonder pill" that cures asthma, all roads lead to Karnataka village.
The traditional healer Ashok Rao Kulkarni prepared the medication, which must be taken and consumed when the moon moves from the "Mrugashira Nakshatra" to the "Ardra Nakshatra"
Koppal: On Saturday morning, thousands of people from all over the nation flocked to this peaceful town in the Koppal district, where they were given access to a herbal remedy that treats respiratory ailments, most notably asthma.
Kutaganahalli village is attracting visitors from the southern states, neighboring Maharashtra, and various regions of Karnataka thanks to the "wonder pill" that traditional healer Ashok Rao Kulkarni has developed.
Kulkarni states that the drug must be taken and consumed during the time when the moon moves from the "Mrugashira Nakshatra" to the "Ardra Nakshatra."
Saturday at 7:47 a.m. was the exact "Muhurta," or auspicious moment, for taking the medication. According to Kulkarni's family, the remedy is particularly beneficial during the Hindu lunar calendar period known as "Jyeshtha Maasa," which occurs when there are rains in the area. That's why there was such a large throng on Saturday.
People have been receiving this treatment from the Kulkarnis for a whole century.
"This medication was previously administered for 60 years by my father, Vyasa Rao Kulkarni, and I took over his legacy. "I've been distributing the medications for 40 years," Kulkarni remarked.
People flock to the village in large numbers in order to receive the medicine because of the centuries-old trust in it.
