BJP: Is it the anger of the Jats in Haryana that has caused a lot of anger?.. BJP introspection
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is focusing on the states where assembly elections will be held soon. It is introspecting on the party's position and shortcomings in those states. It was in the Hindi heartland that they thought they did not face back, that the kamala dal suffered setbacks. In Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana, the BJP failed to achieve the desired results. Assembly elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Haryana are scheduled to be held later this year.
If errors and mistakes are not detected and corrected from now on. The same results are likely to be repeated in the assembly elections as well. That is why the elders of kamala dal started studying and brainstorming on the situation in their respective states. The BJP and the Congress won five seats each in the 10-member Haryana Assembly. Compared to the numbers achieved in 2019, the BJP's strength in the state has come down by half to half. While the BJP swept all the seats in the state with 58.02% of the votes, the Congress could not win a single seat with just 28.42% of the votes. But this time the BJP got 46.11% of the votes and the Congress got 43.67% of the votes and won five seats each. According to the figures, the Congress managed to increase its strength by 15.25 per cent. During the same period, the BJP lost 11.91% of the votes. This is a matter of grave concern to the Kamalnaths.
Anger among Jats and discontent among Dalits.
A core group meeting was held on the bjp's performance in Haryana. The meeting was attended by party national presidents J P Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, party's general secretary (organisational affairs) BL Santosh, newly-appointed election in-charge and co-in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan and Biplab Kumar Deo. Haryana BJP core group leaders such as Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar (former chief minister of the state), Krishnapal Gurjar, Captain Abhimanyu, Sudha Yadav, Haryana Organisation General Secretary Phanindranath Sharma, Sanjay Bhatia, organisation in-charge Satish Punia, co-in-charge Surendra Nagar and others attended the crucial meeting and discussed the shortcomings in-depth. The defeat, especially in places like Ambala and Sonipat, has upset them. Ambala is a seat that has been a successive victory for the BJP. In other words, the BJP leaders consider it a safe place for the entire state. The question that haunts the top leadership is what are the circumstances that led to the defeat in such a place. After a long debate, it was concluded that the anger among the Jat community voters in the state and the discontent among the Dalits had hurt the party's chances of winning. The BJP is looking to launch an extensive campaign soon to explore the reasons for the anger of the Jats and woo them. A Jat leader is likely to be chosen as the next party president of the state. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who has been appointed as the election in-charge of Haryana, will visit the state on June 22 and 23 to absorb the entire situation.
Kamal nath realised that dalits have been alienated from the congress party's false propaganda that reservations will be removed if the BJP comes to power. This factor is believed to be the main reason why the BJP has suffered a setback this time in reserved seats across the country, including uttar pradesh, rajasthan and maharashtra. E-governance has also been found to be one of the reasons for the alienation of Dalits in Haryana. Even those who are not very familiar with the online system and use of apps have had to submit their applications online only to avail any government scheme. In rural areas, some analysts say the move has caused discontent among the backward classes. To rectify this, it has been decided to revive the process of filling and submitting applications online as well as on paper from now on. Overall, 12% of the voters who have been alienated from the party are strategically moving towards bringing them back to them. The state is likely to go to polls in Haryana in the month of October. Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan has been appointed as the party's election in-charge for the state and former Tripura chief minister Viplav Kumar Deb as co-in-charge. Both have been entrusted with the crucial responsibilities of identifying and correcting the deficiencies.
