Arekapudi Gandhi, a Serilingampally MLA, joins the Congress
In Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's presence, a few corporators joined the Congress alongside the BRS MLA.
Hyderabad: On Saturday, at the home of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, MLA Arekapudi Gandhi of Serilingampally joined the Congress, dealing another blow to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
Presenting the party scarf, the Chief Minister formally welcomed the BRS MLA into the Congress fold. A few corporators, including Manjula Raghunath Reddy from Chandanagar, Uppalapati Srikanth from Miyapur, Nagender Yadav from Serilingampally, and Narne Srinivas from Hydernagar, joined the Congress party alongside the BRS MLA.
There are currently nine BRS MLAs who have informed Congress about their intentions.
