"Used To Hate Fame And The Media" was Abhay Deol's childhood confession.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, New Delhi In an interview with Mashable, actor Abhay Deol, who is getting ready for the premiere of Bun Tikki, a movie that also stars Zeenat Aman and Shabana Azmi, talked about how his privacy was invaded by stardom. It's written a lot about you. "Mujhe malum tha ki yeh fayda uthane ke liye aaye hain (I knew they are just around to take advantage)," Abhay continued. "I used to literally hate fame and the media." When he first started in the field, Abhay said, he was "ready to defend" himself. "I was under observation."

The actor also emphasized in his interview with the magazine that he makes care to provide his fans with a realistic glimpse into his life through his social media posts.  Every now and again, I felt that it would be beneficial to let folks know that they are not alone if they have experienced anything similar. Hearing someone in my situation say, "Hey, hey, I'm just as human as you," when you view them as happy and successful, serves as a reminder that you too can overcome obstacles. But just occasionally—I don't want to be that person who lets their guard down because it boosts my self-esteem, said Abhay Deol.

Abhay wrote a lengthy remark on Instagram in January, detailing his transformation from an insecure child to working with “two legends.”

"I was quite the under confident, under achieving, bullied child," he wrote in his essay. I failed to inspire confidence in anyone and no one had any expectations of me. However, keep learning since everything is possible in life, which is its greatest beauty. Now look at me, working with these two legends—Zeenat Aman and Shabana Azmi—shown here with my director, [director] Faraz Arif Ansari, who isn't quite a legend—yet!
